I have been completing research for the visual aesthetic for my poster. The poster must be understandable to an audience without me having to explain the data set being represented here.

After brainstorming, I thought of the idea of using the Facebook news feed as a design layout. Recreating the news feed page in vectors would ensure that the audience understand the data, because the news feed page itself is very iconic and will be instantaneously recognisable as the Facebook.

I then did some further brainstorming about how to visually represent the data set. I thought to stick to the overall theme of recreating the Facebook news feed, so I wanted to use an icon to represent how many friends I have. I decided to use the Facebook thumb logo as a vector, again it is recognisable and will be easy to interpret the data.
